Max Payne is a film, adapted from the popular video game franchise of the same name.
The film was first announced in 2001, when Dimension Films, Collision Entertainment and Abandon Entertainment had bought rights to the adaptation. After a long silent period, it was announced that the producer had changed to 20th Century Fox.
Filming was started on March 2, 2008 in Toronto, Canada and is expected to be released on October 17th 2008.
